The weekend kicked off with guided tours that gave returning grads a look at how the campus has changed — from new academic buildings and residence halls to renovated labs and athletic facilities — alongside familiar landmarks many remembered from their own student days. Milestone reunion classes were recognized throughout the weekend, with special seating and shout-outs at the evening reception for classes celebrating 5, 10, 25, and 50 years since graduation.
Families filled the carnival midway for games, food trucks, and live music, while inside, affinity groups and academic departments hosted informal meet-ups so alumni could reconnect with former classmates and faculty from their programs. The Farmingdale State College Alumni Association also used the weekend to spotlight several distinguished graduates for their professional achievements and continued support of the College.
"Ram Reunion Weekend is really about coming home," said a spokesperson for the Alumni Association. "Whether someone graduated two years ago or fifty, they can walk this campus and immediately feel like a Ram again."
The weekend closed with a well-attended tailgate ahead of a Rams athletics game, capping off a celebration organizers say continues to grow each year. Photos from campus tours, the carnival, class gatherings, and the evening reception are available in the gallery below.
